Danny DeKeyser out next two games with upper-body injury

DETROIT >> Quick update from Wings practice at Joe Louis Arena, Thursday.

Defenseman Danny DeKeyser will miss at least the next two games with an upper-body injury according to Wings general manager Ken Holland.

DeKeyser was injured in Wednesday’s shootout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Holland said the team has recalled Xavier Ouellet from Grand Rapids.

Holland also added he hopes to have DeKeyser back when the Wings host Columbus on Tuesday.

DeKeyser has suffered injuries in each of his first two seasons with the Wings that has made him miss some time.

He has a goal and and 10 assists through 29 games this season.

  1. Well hope he is back tuesday but in the meantime can we finally offload kindyl so this doesn’t go on all year or we keep him. So tired of the rumors that he is trade bait and nothing is being done about it.
