Tatar will get in lineup against Capitals; Eaves, Glendening assigned to Grand Rapids

DETROIT — Just a day after saying the Tomas Tatar needs to sit and watch, Wings coach Mike Babcock will have him in the lineup tonight against the Washington Capitals.

When Tatar got his chance in the lineup he had a three-game points streak, but has since gone the last four games with no points.

The move was made necessary after the team assigned center Luke Glendening back to Grand Rapids.

Patrick Eaves also was assigned to the Griffins after he wasn’t claimed off waivers.
