DETROIT – Johan Franzen will be back in the lineup Tuesday when Detroit hosts the Winnipeg Jets.
But he still won’t disclose the “upper-body injury” that has had him sidelined the last four games.
“When it’s 100 percent healed,” Franzen said when asked when he’ll say what the injury is.”
He said it’s been the same issue the whole time, but it’s not an injury he had before.”
“I just couldn’t play,” Franzen said. “I wasn’t ready.”
He added he feels he’s ready to play with how he’s been practicing.
“I thought I could tell you today but I couldn’t,” Franzen said.
He also laughed off speculation that he’s dealing with anxiety issues, something he’s had when he was younger.
“That’s definitely is not the issue,” Franzen said.
