Wings take Tyler Bertuzzi, whose uncle is Todd Bertuzzi, with pick from San Jose in second round

The Wings took left wing Tyler Bertuzzi, from Guelph of the Ontario Hockey League, with the 58th overall pick in the second round.

Detroit got the pick in a trade with San Jose earlier in the round.

Bertuzzi, whose uncle is Detroit’s Todd Bertuzzi, finished ranked 207th by NHL Central Scouting.

He had 13 goals and nine assists in 43 games last season.
