DETROIT — Petr Svoboda, the agent for Jaromir Jagr, has pinpointed a time when his client may decide on where he’s going to sign for next season.
And the Wings seem to still be in the mix, along with the Pittsburgh Penguins and a third team.
“Nothing has been decided yet,” Svoboda said. “Nothing is going to happen before 6 p.m.”
Detroit, along with the Penguins, have each offered Jagr, 39, one-year deals.
Jagr can’t officially until the free agency period begins, which is noon on Friday.
