Daniel Cleary on Wings’ record at home: “It’s terrible.”

DETROIT — After their 2-1 loss Saturday night to the Florida Panthers the Wings record at home this season dropped to 5-6-6.

“It’s terrible,” Daniel Cleary said.

Conversely, Detroit is 10-3-1 on the road.

“Not only does it feel like it, we are,” Cleary said when asked if they’re a different team on the road. “We play a lot more patient, simple game on the road.”

Since having their NHL record 23 game win streak on home ice snapped in 2012, the Wings have gone 27-22-12 combined in the regular season and playoffs at Joe Louis Arena.
