DETROIT — Wings coach Mike Babcock revealed his plans for his goalie rotation after Thursday night’s practice and as it stands right now if Jimmy Howard is play good he’ll keep playing.
“Howie’s going to start (Saturday), and if he plays good he’s going to start again, and if if he plays good he’s going to start again,” Babcock said.
Could he start three games in four nights?
The coach responded, “Why not?”
The Wings brought in Jonas Gustavsson to backup Howard this season.
