Bell ringers

DETROIT — The four Red Wing duos that rang The Salvation Army bell on Friday raised $17,150. Wings coach Mike Babcock and general manager Ken Holland raised the most money for the fourth time in four years.

The pair raised $7,261, which included a $2,500 personal check from Holland.

Justin Abdelkader and Darren Helm raised the most last year. They raised $4,308 this year.
