DETROIT — Jan Mursak was back walking around in the Wings’ locker room just a few days after having his cast removed.
Mursak broke his ankle in the preseason.
“I feel pretty good,” he said. “It’s a little stiff and a little sensitive. Hopefully the recovery goes fast.
They took an x-ray after I took the cast off and they saw it was healing real good. It will still take awhile.”
Mursak won back back on skates for at least six weeks.
“At least I can walk normally now, without the crutches,” Mursak said. “I have to take it easy and walk kind of slowly. I don’t want to do anything to make it worse.”
