DETROIT — Patrick Eaves’ new deal may be the piece that keeps Drew Miller from testing the open market.
His agent, Jason Woolley, has confirmed that he’s been in contact with the Wings trying to get a deal done.
“With Eaves signing we see what the range is,” Woolley said. “We’ve got a better feel for it.”
Eaves signed a thee-year deal worth $1.2 million a season.
Miller, 27, made $650,000 last season.
